The September 28, 1995 draft is JMS's original version of the story, featuring the return of General William Hague, a character written out of the show production due to actor Robert Foxworth being double-booked on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine."Ceremonies of Light and Dark" — Delenn's plans for a rebirth ceremony are derailed in this October 9, 1995 draft, when Clark loyalists attempting to retake Babylon 5."Sic Transit Vir" — This December 1, 1995 teleplay focuses on Vir Cotto, the newly appointed Centauri envoy to Minbar, and his unspeakable activities with the Narn."A Late Delivery from Avalon" — Aurthurian Legend comes to the fore in this October 24, 1995 script, which sees King Arthur arriving on Babylon 5 with Excalibur and a mission."Ship of Tears" — Bester returns to lead Sheridan et al on a dangerous mission to intercept "weapons components" destined for the Shadows in this November 21, 1995 teleplay."Interludes and Examinations" — Sheridan and Ambassador Kosh come into conflict over the latter's reluctance to directly engage the Shadows. This November 21, 1995 script also features a deleted setpiece in which an unsuspecting Ranger tails Mr. Morden with tragic consequences."War Without End" Part One — JMS's preferred draft—the December 8, 1995 script—features the return of Draal, a character omitted from the episode-as-filmed due to John Schuck's stage commitments.
