Here everything gets started. On my office desk.
Sometimes Frank feels like a composer – when brainstorming and hatching ideas of a new product. When being in his office, sitting at his desk there is a blank sheet of music lying in front of him. The basic motif is defined. He already knows the song in his heart. And he cannot get that tune out of his head buzzing around. That’s the start. He begins drawing a great many clouds on his clean sheet. The first cloud belongs exclusively to active substances, his fave ones, followed by the second which is caring oils. The third is there to find competent substances to protect the composition from being ruined microbiologically. Ultimately, there are some more clouds added to accomplish a genuine masterpiece of beauty – so he needs the olfactory or scent cloud which is extremely elemental as well as some minor ones dedicated to such basics like pH-value, look and feel, galenics, etc. All in all he counts 7 to 8 clouds on his paper. And that is a desk formulation in the making. Stay tuned how the hazy cloud formation comes into life.

I’m the composer of intelligent, fine green and clean cosmetic arts. I’m the man who makes wo/men look their best.
Creativity brought us together. That’s so energetic, releasing so much power, enthusiasm, that’s authentic. Our DNA. The energy to create something unique. Each of us tries to apply oneself to win the game – this kind of unity is our strength. We approach things differently but we share one vision and have the same source of inspiration. We live in a microcosmos in which we are super big in pooling our forte and absolutely focusing on the essentials. That is pure luck, entire happiness and fulfillment.
A NOTE FROM INA & FRANK W
It all started with the perfect skincare wardrobe – a fast, easy, intuitive lineup of eight simple products that gave absolutely anyone the power to create beautiful skin. That was our dream for ambuja® when we launched it at a little counter in Hell’s Kitchen New York in 2012. As a dream couple of a lingo woman and a cosmetic scientist, we also wanted ambuja to do more than cleanse, cream and cover. ambuja® had to superhydrate, soothe, protect, and nourish the skin. It had to be organic, vegan and absolutely clean. And it had to spark real joy when you held it in the palm of your hand. 10+ years later, and some days short of our next anniversary, that’s still the guiding ethos of every single product we make.
We want our products to brighten your day, whether it’s a new beauty flash to light up your world or the serum prep that makes your skin transcendently happy.
